How to participate in the event
Fees will include morning coffee, rowing or hiking as well as lunch and the Baltic Sea Seminar.
Rowing
You can participate in rowing alone, together with your friend or as a member of the 14 member rowing team. Rotarians will take care of the boat and the captain if needed.
Rowing price 95 €/person
Hiking
You will be a member of 5 to 10 person hiking team. Rotarians will take care of guides of teams.
Children under 12 years can participate without fees if hiking together with an adult.
The price of the hike is 60 €/person
Company groups and sponsoring
Companies and organizations can participate in rowing or hiking, buy visibility in the event or support protection of the Baltic Sea by sponsoring the event.
Registration
Assemble your team and sign up for the quick start. The last day to register for rowing is already 6.9.2026
You can sign up for the hike until 24.9.2026!
You can register yourself as a single rower, or you can organize a whole rowing team of 14 single oar rowers and the cox.
If you are registrating a group, register group members one by one and pay the total entry fee.
How to sign up:
1. Click yourself to the ticket office from below
2. Choose either Herring row or Herring hike.
3. Fill in the participant info. If you are signing up other members of your team, fill the the form for each participant separately.
4. Click the shopping basket, fill in the payer info and pay for all the participants you signed up.
5. Ready! We'll send the participant info to the email addresses provided nearer to the event.
Registration of a group
If you want to registrate a whole rowing or hiking group, download the Excel file below and send it with your group information to the email address silakkasoutu@gmail.com. Please note that you should pay the entry fees of the whole group in one payment.
