The Baltic Herring Rowing is an annual relaxed and sporty charity event. The event, which will be held on Sunday, 4 October, offers companies a great opportunity to spend a recreation day for their employees and at the same time concretely build the company's environmental responsibility.
Rowing or walking - let's help the Baltic Sea prepare!
In the Baltic herring rowing, church boats are rowed from Kaisaniemi Bay to the Market Square. In addition to rowing, there will be a Baltic Herring Hike for landlubbers, where a distance of about 4 kilometres will be covered on foot along the shores. In other words, the company can gather a suitable group and participate in both. You can invite your own staff, customers, family members or other stakeholder representatives!
The church boat can accommodate 14 rowers and a mate, who can be arranged by Rotarians if necessary. The walking trail and the Baltic Sea-themed checkpoint course can be completed along the shores in one large group or a couple of smaller groups led by a guide. Your company's logos and colors are visible!
The funds raised from the event will be donated to the protection of the Baltic Sea.
Positive visibility for your brand
About 350 people will participate in the Baltic herring rowing and seminar in Helsinki, with an age range of 17 to 80 years. The target group is physically active and environmentally conscious, and they are primarily interested in responsible companies that take environmental issues into account in their own operations.
In addition to the event's own channels, the event can be seen and heard on the channels of the Helsinki Baltic Herring Market and its partners. The teams will be photographed at the start and the photos of the event photographer will be freely available to the sponsors.
